Services
The Inn Home for Boys serves boys ages twelve to sixteen who are working to gain the social skills necessary to reunite with their families in the community.
Youth and their families are offered intensive case management in order to identify both strengths and areas of growth, set goals around these areas, connect with community services, and to support them in the process of recovery.
The average stay of a youth is between seven and fourteen months. All referrals are made through the Oregon Department of Human Services based on the severity of needs and behaviors.
We utilize a curriculum of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT. DBT is ideally suited to help individuals who want to learn the skills of emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
We believe every child can be successful in school, and provide the necessary support system for students to excel. Our approach includes prioritizing daily, structured, study periods with a dedicated tutor. We see students who have never enjoyed academic success engage, and start taking a pro active approach to their educations.
