Are You a Youth Who Wants to Become Involved in ILP?
If you are still in the care and custody of DHS, you need to:
- Call your DHS worker and ask them to please fill out an ILP Referral Form (they might call it a “CF 80”) and fax it to East Multnomah County Child Welfare Branch @ 971-673-2020.
- You need to get down to our office @ 5605 E. Burnside any Tuesday at 4pm for an orientation (about 1 hour).
- If 1 & 2 are done, keep your eyes open for a letter in the mail from our one of our case managers, introducing themselves and welcoming you to the program!
If You Have Been Emancipated From DHS Care and Are Under Age 21, You Can:
Contact Stacey Mahler @ 971-673-2041 to find out about becoming a “voluntary” client
Two Important Points Your Should Know:
Our Program is Voluntary : It is up to the youth to decide if they want to be a part of the program
And
Our program is youth driven: The youth is in charge of his/her goals.
IT IS YOUR LIFE AFTER ALL!
